How our courses are structured

All our training courses are designed to achieve outcomes.  This means that right at the start we find out what needs there are for learning.

These needs are then analysed through consultation with professionals in the workplace to find out exactly how to define the needs, and then to convert them into "desired outcomes."

These "desired outcomes" are then written out as an enterprise standard.  A "standard" is a description of the performance of the skill as a minimum requirement.

This standard may or may not be submitted to SAQA for registration.  It may apply only to a company, and submitting it to SAQA may compromise intellectual property rights.

The standard list "Assessment Criteria", which are the baselines on which competence is measured.

That's only when we start writing a training course.

In summary, a training course is based on desired outcomes of competent performance.

We train you so that you can DO competently.
