| Training Methods and Policies
It is important to know how we train, why we train, and what we think about training.
The past 20 years has shown us that training is all about LEARNING
and ASSESSING COMPETENCY.
We cannot give people knowledge. It's not like instant coffee: "Just take a spoonful of coffee and add water".
It's also not about teaching: "Just stand at the front of the classroom and rattle on".
What it's all about
Training, especially experiential training, is creating a structured environment wherein people learn by doing.
On these pages, you will find out what we are all about, and why outcomes-based experiential learning is the only tried and tested method that has survived the tests of time.
Mentoring,
Learnerships and Coaching
There is very
little difference in structure between any of
these and any structured experiential learning.
