Training for Sustainability

Overview | Training for Sustainability | Assessment & Moderation Policies | How we work | Experiences  | Structures | Outcomes| Evaluation

Training has to be sustainable.  You cannot keep on calling in the training consultants.  You have to train to maintain and extend the skilled base yourself.

Look at this:

If you train 10 people, after three years:

bullet One  will be dead
bullet One  will be fired
bullet One  will have retired
bullet Two  will have left, head-hunted by your competitors

ONLY FIVE WILL BE LEFT

Hence, our training strategy.  For every ten trainees, one of them must be trained to be a trainer.  This person has to carry on training so that you can NOT just maintain the skills base, but to grow it.

This is how nations and economies grow.

This is why we include trainer and assessor training in our portfolio.  When we come and help your organisation with skills, we recommend trainer and assessor training.  We want you to have people who can, on a regular basis:

bullet Conduct Needs Analysis.
bullet Design training courses.
bullet Write and make up training materials.
bullet Conduct training.
bullet Assess competencies.
bullet Evaluate training.

Don't lose this opportunity to make us redundant.  Only then will you be sustainable in terms of a growing skills base.

We will also train one of your trainers in Training Management.  this involves all the above, but also includes:

bullet Organisation Development.
bullet Scenario Planning.
bullet Succession Planning.
bullet Record keeping.
bullet Training Impact Studies.
